The Ski Challenge is back in the Swedish capital of skiing next week end in Åre to help Swedish and Scandinavian riders to maybe become pros and change their ski lives forever like local star Tom Oliver Hedvall, winner of the Ski Challenge in 2008.

Competitors will compete both in freestyle and freeride to obtain their spot in the final in Val Thorens, France from March 26-28.

Applications will take place in the Stadium store, Friday Feb.19 from 4 PM to 7PM. Meeting place for all riders is at 8:30 in Rödkullans värmestuga on Saturday Feb 20. Please remember to come with applications in your language signed from parents or coach if you're under 18. Participants are required to wear helmet at all times, back and hip protections recommended.

Backpack, back protection, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe (avalanche stick) required for freeride.
You can rent a kit from the organizers fro 20 Euros or 200 SEK.
